A new season. ๐
This past week felt like one of those weeks where summer and fall seem to meet.
School started, which means our evenings now include washing heifers after school and work as we prepare for the Minnesota State Fair. We had a BIG beef restock, finally started trialing our long-awaited cooking tallow, and have been soaking in some beautiful sunrises and sunsets as the days slowly get shorter.
And this morning? Things are starting just a little slower.
Rylan is in the kitchen making coffee cake while we catch up on computer work and prepare for another busy weekโshipping orders, moving cattle to new pastures, filling orders, and ending the week back in the show ring.
In the middle of all the busy, Sunday mornings are a good reminder to stop and be thankful for what fills our daysโthe work, the opportunities, the people beside us, and the beauty God puts right in front of us.
โThis is the day the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it.โ โ Psalm 118:24
Hereโs to soaking in a slower Sunday morning before another full week begins. ๐
