Yesterday, Dora's Donuts made a special stop at Tecumseh Middle School for Teacher Appreciation Day! ❤️

We got to sweeten the day for some pretty amazing educators with fresh donuts and c***r! A HUGE thank you to the PTO for having us!

And while we were there, I may or may not have taken the opportunity to earn a few brownie points 🤣💕 Because what's the point of owning a donut business if you can't occasionally use it to bribe your way into being the cool aunt?! 🍩😂

BUT THE DONUT FUN ISN'T OVER!
We're excited to be part of the festivities tonight at Castlewood Park on Lake Columbia for an afternoon of family fun!

🎪 Craft vendors, games, and activities!
🎥 Hocus Pocus at dark!

This is a closed event, so we won't be inviting the public to attend but we're looking forward to serving everyone who's already part of the festivities! 🩷🍩

One YEAR into business and I can still crack myself up with “firsts.” 😂😂😂
Today’s first: I forgot my entire freaking cash till at home. 💀

It absolutely was NOT worth driving all the way back for it, so I accepted my fate, grabbed the neon duct tape and was about to write:
“EXACT CASH OR CARD ONLY PLEASE.”

…then we started scrounging. 😂
Between me, my brother, and my dad, we managed to scrape together four $5s, about twenty $1s, and an absolutely unreasonable amount of quarters.
Dump it all in a blue trailer bucket and LOOK AT THAT ✨ WE HAVE A TILL, PEOPLE. ✨ 😂😂😂

A full year in business and somehow there are STILL new ways to forget things, improvise, and make it work.
Entrepreneurship: but make it ✨loose change✨. 💀🍩
And yes, the neon duct tape has officially been put away. WE ARE GOOOOOOD. 😂
