Firehouse Hops Thriving Hop Farm in South East Michigan We are a brand new hop field with ambition and backing to grow into a large scale hop supplier.

We are working with local growers to build our infrastructure and the top hop cross breeders in the state to push the Michigan hop industry to levels it has never seen. Our goal is to continue the rich farming heritage that has been passed down six generations by moving into a new and growing market. With the vast knowledge and experience brought to the table we have the drive and ability to produce a high quality hop for the brewers of Michigan and beyond.

Tapping Tuesday! Harvest Ale 2022

5% ABV 22 IBUs

This S.M.A.S.H. (Single Malt And Single Hop) was brewed with one malt variety and one hop variety. With fresh hops harvested by Railtown’s very own Josh and Amanda, this year’s Michigan Harvest Ale is a real treat. We sourced hops grown by Firehouse Hops down on the SE side of the state. Their Emerald Spire variety comes locally from West Michigan’s Great Lakes Hops. This hop features bold aromas of ripe peach, white grape, watermelon, and that resiny dankness we’ve come to know and love.
