Pinecroft Farms We raise angus beef on our farm in Broaddus, Texas. No shortcuts - no compromises. Just exceptional beef for your family. We sell our beef by the half and whole.

Our cattle graze on chemical free pastures and are nourished with a carefully selected, hormone free nutrient mix. Pricing is as follows:

Half Share: $5.95/lb hanging weight. $375 deposit
Whole: $5.85/lb hanging weight. $750 deposit

Hanging weight is the weight of a "dressed" animal. Dressed means the hide and organs have been removed but all bones and other unusable parts are still intact. Th

e hanging weight is usually around 60% of live weight. So a 1000 lb steer would have a hanging weight of about 600 lbs. The amount of frozen packaged meat is about 67% of hanging weight. This means that a 1000 lb steer would yield about 400 pounds of meat to go in your freezer. Contact us for more information.
