Kidding season is almost over!! Between my brother in laws goats and my own, I've kidded out 11 out of 13, with only one loss so far. Girls are very heavily outweighing boys in numbers this year. BIL has 4b/8g, and I'm sitting with the same!!! Still two mamas to go, Stella and Mocha. Updates later!

I really hate the part of kidding where you just can't always save them.... had a first time mama, Luna, had a set of twins while I was in the house sleeping from2 to 5. When I got out there, they were both still alive but one was obviously worse than the other. Unfortunately, I couldn't get her warmed up quick enough..... thankfully, we still have her sister, now dubbed Cinnamon, a she's very perky out with her mama again (which is a WHOLE other can of worms.... being a first timer, she wants her baby but doesn't want it TOUCHING her 🤦‍♀️). Plans to boot out a couple mamas from the barn that kidded a couple days ago and get Luna and Cinnamon relocated. Here's some videos for your enjoyment while I take another nap!

A big white spotted buckling and little tricolor doeling for Tynk to start my kidding season! Was a cold one last night so the my spent most of the night in my bathroom. Update from hubs this morning is they are eating great now and almost completely independent on their latching. Doeling name TBD.
