We are a fourth-generation family operation raising registered Angus cattle since 1981. Located on 960 acres in beautiful Toston, Montana. Our registered Angus operation started in 1981. Back then we operated under the name Riverfront Angus out of Bozeman, Montana. Rick VanD**en bought heifers at the Van D**e Angus Ranch and Hyline Angus Ranch. With this fresh start in the registered business, we
hit it hard using great sires that would leave an impression on the cow herd. Power Play, Rito 2100 GDAR, and AAR New Trend 315. GDAR Traveler 71, Hyline Right Time 338, RA Genetic Trend, AAR Really Windy and Hero 2418 followed suit. In May of 2006, we pulled up our roots and moved to our current home in Toston, Montana. That’s when we started using a few new bulls; WoodHill Foresight, T.C. Franklin, Cole Creek Black Cedar, and DFA Hero 6017. We currently operate on approximately 1300 acres of mountain pasture. We run 150 registered cattle. We hay approximately 1100 acres and sell 3000 tons of hay a year. We also grow and sell corn silage and wheat
