There’s something most people don’t know about me…
when I cook for myself, I cook differently.
Not fancier. Not more complicated.
Just more honest.
This week, I’m cooking something I truly love to eat…
the kind of plate I make when I’m not trying to impress anyone—just feed myself right.
If you know me, you know this already:
black beans are non-negotiable.
Slow, rich, full of flavor… the kind that sit next to white rice and don’t need anything else, but still make everything better.
Here’s what I’m dropping for lunch this week:
✨ Pork loin, rolled and stuffed with chorizo & sweet plantains (amarillos), wrapped in bacon
🍚 White rice
🖤 Black beans — my way
Simple. Comforting. Full of flavor.
