BASC Dining Services is proud to receive a Silver Award in the annual NACUFS Loyal E. Horton university and collegiate dining competition. BASC was recognized in the category of Residential Dining Special Event for the “One Core” dinner they held for students in October 2025.

This apple-themed event could not have been done with you, our students, and the vast number of campus and community partners who collaborated on the event. Special shout-outs to the following campus organizations with social media: , , , , .brockport, , and !

Miss us? Jitterbugs is excited to reopen on Monday, June 1 with fresh summer hours and even more refreshing summer sips! ⛱

Starting in June, Jitterbugs Café will be open weekdays from 8am-2pm. Join us Monday-Friday for delectable teas, energizing coffee, and flavorful lunch fare. And don't forget: we now accept cash!

There are select days where Jitterbugs is closed this summer. Please note we'll be closed June 19 for Juneteenth, July 3 for Independence Day, and Aug. 6 & 7 for a BASC event. Apologies for any inconvenience.

Ground = Broken 🚧🎉

Summer is officially here, which means we're kicking off major projects, like our remodel at Harrison Dining Hall! This update provides sustainable upgrades, like a new dish room that processes post-consumer waste into compost, and practical design changes that improv congestion and flow through the dining hall!

We're beyond excited to get this project started. Stay tuned for more updates as we continue to improve Brockport's nest 💚💛 Learn more about our Harrison Dining Hall remodel at SUNY Brockport, along with other exciting changes for dining this fall, by reading our recent post at BASC1.org!

Last meals of the semester are better with friends 💚💛

Harrison Dining Hall closes at 2pm on 5/14! We’re serving delicious Arizona potatoes, jerk chicken, garlic parm chicken, burgers and chicken sandwiches, pizza, burrito bowls, and more. The next time you see Harrison, it’ll look pretty different! we can’t wait to show off our transformation this fall.

Moonlight Breakfast’s Boujee Brunch was a success on Friday! Did you make it? 🥞🧇

Thank you for celebrating the end of the year with us and ! Today for lunch, we wanted to remind you that Brockway is closed for the semester, but we’ve got plenty of delectable items at Harrison, including our noodle bar, fresh pizza, and Bport bow ties to fuel your finals.
