Old Forge would like to wish all of our customers, both old and new a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! We are glad that you chose to make us part of your holiday celebration!
We did make several adjustments this year (additional equipment and more staffing) to help ensure that our customers had an enjoyable experience during our most busy times.
We do apologize to those that were looking for that perfect tree after we had closed for the season. We have been working to extend our season by planting more trees each year. We are also expanding the variety of trees that we will offer. The new varieties will include: Blue Spruce, Myers Spruce, Korean/Balsam, Fralsam, and Grand Fir.
We look forward to seeing you all next year!

Since we are closed for the 2025 season, our partner Strathmeyer Christmas Trees is open for the rest of the season with trees, décor, gifts, and festive fun.

Their main location at the York Fairgrounds is open Mon-Thur 12-7pm, Fri & Sat 10a-8p, and Sun 10a-5p, offering:

• Fresh-cut trees and live trees
• Decorated and plain wreaths in multiple sizes
• Tabletop trees
• White pine garland
• Nearly 20 local vendors
• Kids activities

This weekend: Enjoy Santa visits (kids and well-behaved pets welcome), food trucks, a wreath-making demo, Trees for Troops, and special promotions.

We just had a great opening weekend here at Old Forge! Many thanks to all of those who visited with us! For all you tall- tree people, they’re still quite a few 10 foot Fraser Fir remaining. We also have plenty of 10 to 11 feet Canaan Fir, Douglas Fir up to 11 feet and Concolor up to 9 feet!

As in years past, Guinston Presbyterian Church will have their Christmas shop at Old Forge! There is a wide variety of holiday items to purchase! (Cash only) There are a lot of handmade country and primitive decor themed items! Some prices are as marked while others are by donation. Proceeds benefit the church’s youth group and the continuing building projects.
