There’s always that ONE thing that goes wrong when you’re moving bees… 😂🐝

Last night we were moving some beehives when my buddy got out of his car and apparently forgot one tiny detail…

Put it in PARK. 😂

Next thing we know, his car is rolling across the yard and straight into a big-🫏 ditch. 🤦‍♂️😂

Thankfully, everybody was fine. His car? Well… that’s another story. 😂

Just another completely normal night of beekeeping. 🐝

🐝🦋 The downside of not storing old frames properly…

Wax moths had a FIELD DAY with these frames. 😳🤢 Once they take over, it can get pretty nasty.

I cleaned up as much as I could and found a pretty good use for all those wax moth larvae… the chickens absolutely loved them! 😂🐔

Just another day in the bee yard. 🐝🍯

W**d whacking around beehives: 10/10 for getting the job done, 0/10 according to the bees. 🐝😂

There’s a lot more that goes into a jar of honey than most people ever see. 🐝

Every frame has a journey — uncapping, extraction, clarification, and finally into the barrel before it ever makes it into a jar.

This is the process behind the honey we work so hard to bring you.

From our hives to your table. 🍯

No bees. No hive checks. Just good views and a little time to recharge.

Back to work soon. 🐝

These gloves have been with me through hundreds of hive inspections, countless stings, honey harvests, swarm calls, and long days in the Texas heat.

They’ve been stitched back together, patched with duct tape more times than I can count, and somehow kept going. But today they’re officially retired.

It’s funny how a beat-up pair of gloves can tell the story of the work that went into building a beekeeping business. Every rip, stain, and patch came from time spent with the bees.

Thanks for your service, old friends. 🐝🧤 Time to break in a new pair.

Nature never stops surprising me. 🐝

I came across this four-banded stink bug wasp and captured something most people never get to see. This tiny predator emerges from its burrow, then returns carrying a paralyzed stink bug back underground.

The female wasp uses the stink bug as a food source for her developing larva. It may seem brutal, but it’s an incredible example of how complex and fascinating nature really is.

Have you ever seen a wasp like this before?
