After 20 years of growing flowers, Farmhouse Flowers & Plants is closing up the business. Four years ago, the farm was passed onto the next generation in the family with the intention of Farmhouse Flowers & Plants continuing on the property indefinitely. But things don’t always go as planned. It’s been a difficult decision at the end of a wonderful journey. I’ve meet some great flower growers, and visited many farms around the country in my years with the ASCFG. I’ll be selling the greenhouses and tunnels and perennials and woodies. Farmhouse Dollars - If any customers have unredeemed Farmhouse Dollars that you would like to redeem, we have arranged for Wollam Gardens and Greenstone Fields to accept them at the farmers markets they attend. It was Baby Day at the market today. We gave free bouquets at the Dupont Circle Farmers Market to THREE new mothers. There were probably more, but those three were the lucky ones that can into, or near our space
Great PR and it puts a smile on everyone's face, including ours.

We donated lilies and tulips for this event. If you look closely, you can see them in the arrangements. One of the table arrrangements was made with our "Maryland Grown" flowers.
