🤎 If you’ve been to The Farmhouse, you’ve probably seen this friendly face around! Karla has been a valued part of our team for 2 years and 8 months, and we’re so thankful to have her!

🏠Karla was born and raised right here in Brookfield and is the proud mom of two kids. When she’s not at The Farmhouse, she enjoys going on adventures and making memories with her fiancé and kids!

☀️ Plot twist: Your favorite comfort food is officially a summer recipe.

This Summertime Beef Meatloaf brings a fresh twist to a classic with juicy tomatoes layered right inside (and on top!) plus savory herb stuffing for the ultimate flavor upgrade. Trust us... this isn't your grandma's meatloaf. 😏🔥

✨ You'll need:
🥩 2 lbs lean Ground Beef
🍞 2/3 cup seasoned dry bread crumbs
🥚 2 large eggs
🧂 1½ tsp freshly ground black pepper
🌿 1 cup savory herb stuffing mix
🍅 2 large tomatoes, sliced

👩‍🍳 How to make it:
1️⃣ Preheat oven to 350°F.
2️⃣ Mix ground beef, bread crumbs, eggs and pepper until just combined.
3️⃣ Shape half into a loaf on a foil-lined broiler pan.
4️⃣ Layer on the stuffing mix and half the tomato slices.
5️⃣ Top with remaining beef mixture, seal the edges, and finish with the remaining tomatoes.
6️⃣ Bake 1½ hours until the center reaches 155°F.
7️⃣ Broil for 5 minutes to caramelize the tomatoes, until the internal temperature reaches 160°F.
8️⃣ Let rest 10 minutes, then slice and enjoy!
