Update on Keith ❤️

Keith made it through surgery great! 🙏🏻 They were able to do the surgery laparoscopically and, thankfully, only had to remove 1/3 of his kidney.

We are so thankful for answered prayers and for everyone who has prayed, checked on us, and supported our family through this. ❤️

Please keep those prayers coming as Keith begins his recovery from surgery. We know the road ahead will take some time, but we are so grateful that everything went well today.

Thank you all so much for praying for Keith! 🙏🏻❤️

To Our Wonderful Customers ❤️

We wanted to share a personal update with all of you. This Friday, Paw (Janie’s owner, Keith Stogner) will be having surgery to remove part of his kidney that is cancerous. We ask that you please keep him and my mother-in-law in your prayers during this time. 🙏🏻❤️

His recovery is expected to take approximately 6–8 weeks. During that time, Steven and I will be running the bakery and doing the very best we can to keep everything going. However, we know we won’t be able to keep up with everything as we normally do.

With that being said, we will not be taking cake or pie orders for the time being. If you would like to order our iced Janie’s cookies, please give us at least three days’ notice so we have time to get your order ready.

Janie will be out at least through Labor Day. After that, we will reevaluate and hopefully be able to start taking cake orders again. We will keep everyone updated as we know more.

Thank you all so much for your prayers, patience, understanding, and continued support of our family and Janie’s. It truly means more to us than you know. ❤️🙏🏻
