Why should we choose wool? October is Wool Month. It's a great time to tell others of the story of wool and why they should CHOOSE WOOL.

In the world overwhelmed by plastic pollution, including synthetic clothing, wool offers a natural, sustainable solution. Biodegradable and renewable, wool is more than just a fiber—it’s rooted in cultures and communities, with the power to bring people together.

If you're reading this, you likely don’t need convincing of wool’s wonders. Yet today, wool makes up only 1% of global fibre production, losing ground to synthetics in the fast fashion era.

We are in danger of losing more wool processing infrastructure both in North America and globally. We need to make wool a part of our daily lives from socks, to clothing, to textiles like carpet. WE MUST CHOOSE WOOL!

Our 3 montadale rams going to Hettinger ram sale more information will follow soon. These rams may not be as fat as a lot sold this time of year. But our rams have been on a grass based diet with a couple pounds of feed daily. They were also born in December. Some of the best rams we have sold in recent years.

This two of the reasons V-2 knucklehead is our lead STUD ram. He is Jacks sire, the ram Dan Rhoades bought in our online sale. To bad these type of sheep don’t get long and tall enough. Just wish our show sheep were long and tall too.
His big b***y and big hangers is why he also sires most of the range/ commercial rams we sale. Wait to see pictures of this sons attending Hettinger ram sale sept 18.
