Once again I am completely behind in posting but we had a wonderful, albeit, damp day at the Cheshire Show Series last Sunday! We had a small group of riders who came out and worked hard, each with different goals and at different places in their riding and each one did an outstanding job!

Korra and Willow Hill Tiramisu "Bella" came for their second walk, trot show together and Korra worked hard to remember all of her skills and keep Bella doing what she needed each class. It was for sure not always easy for Korra, but she never gave up and definitely had the encouragement and support of everyone at the show! Korra was probably one of the youngest kids out there and she did amazing for her second time on her own at a show!! This team will be something to watch for next season and I can't wait!!

Ellen and CBMF Thomas Crown "Tate" entered the show ring again and while they had some challenging moments, they kept working and their last class of the day was truly beautiful and they pulled a higher ribbon than they had all day! It was wonderful to see the hard work pay off and to know that Ellen could see what I saw was in there all along! When you trust yourself and your horse and let go a little sometimes we surprise ourselves with what happens. This team has come a very long way and I am so glad they were able to finish their show season in such a wonderful way!!

Amelia and Teddy Ruxpin "Teddy" did a fantastic job once we ironed out some small details. Amelia rode with confidence and piloted Teddy around the ring beautifully to some great ribbons and fantastic rides! To see Amelia grow in a new discipline this year and truly find her place has been so fantastic to see and I am excited to see where we can go during the off season with this now game little rider! The sky is the limit and 2027 better be ready for this kid!

Kiley and KCE American Flaire "Maverick" came off an absolutely fantastic Mass Morgan, so I was interested to see what this show would be for them. What I saw was a rider that has out the work in all season, riding in all sorts of classes, through difficult situations and with many different outcomes, come out into the ring and look poised, relaxed and having fun! The classes were not all perfect, having a couple missed leads that of course always happened right in front of the judge...lol...but I saw a kid that came around and laughed and smiled about needing more outside rein before I could even say anything. I saw a kid that looked like she belonged and believed in herself and that has been my goal for her all season. This team is for sure one to watch for Octoberfest this year, which will be their next show, but also for 2027 because after another winter of work and confidence and time together I think this team will be set up to try and reach all of their goals!

We as a whole didn't do well taking pictures at this show, so enjoy the pictures we did get along with some Saturday lesson shots of the YMCA and our group lessons...lol! Happy end of summer to everyone! It's been busy and a blast and we are ready for some down time!😂

Our marathon show stretch is almost complete and the Massachusetts Morgan Horse Show was such a highlight for us! We took a small group of people and horses and to say I'm proud of each and every one of them would be a huge understatement!

Anna and Mony's Midnite Dream "Jax" continue to make huge strides with their first season showing western pleasure! Jax shows so much promise and has such an amazing, willing attitude that doesn't come along every day! Being in his first full show season, he is really starting to find his rhythm with western and he and Anna continue to grow and learn together! I am so proud of Anna coming out every class trying to be the best partner to Jax she can and really working on breaking old habits and trust that she is the wonderful, accomplished rider I know she is! I could not be happier with all they have worked through this season and can't wait to see what the future holds!!❤️

Kiley and KCE American Flaire "Maverick" had their best show of the season, putting so many of the pieces together and really coming out with the confidence I always knew was in there! Kiley took all the tools she has learned throughout this season and applied them to every class, showing such poise and ring awareness that was just fantastic to watch. This team was lucky enough to bring home some ribbons to top off their wonderful rides and even took home a 4th place out of 9 competitive Morgans to truly show that they are going to be something to watch as they continue to grow together! I am so proud and excited to see what comes next for them! The hard work really does pay off and Kiley and Maverick are proof of this and no one deserves it more!!❤️

Reagan and Willow Hill Tiramisu "Bella" came out at this show and proved that they have been putting in the work! Reagan has been really working on her position in lessons and learning how to put Bella together and she rode into the coliseum and used all her tools and had the most amazing rides! Reagan and Bella looked poised and confident and in all of their competitive classes earned some top ribbons! My absolute favorite thing was in Reagan's last class when I asked her how she thought she did, she told me I think it's the best I've ever ridden and I completely agreed! She earned her very first reserve championship in that class and did her first victory pass! A little nostalgic for me as I also had my very first victory pass at Mass Morgan a very long time ago ❤️! This team was humble and happy for their rides each time and the ribbons were truly an incredible icing on the cake! Congratulations Reagan and Bella, I am so proud of you!!

This was an incredible show full of firsts for our little barn and I am so glad that each of our riders have been willing to put their trust in me and really put in the work. This has not been an easy season for everyone, but they are all learned and grown so much and it truly brings tears to my eyes to know that they have accomplished so much this year! Thank you so much to the Massachusetts Morgan Horse Show for putting on such a wonderful, fun show! We are so grateful for all the work that goes into an event like this and happy we could be a part of it this year! Thank you to all of the amazing Morgan people who have supported us and been so kind to all of us this show season as well! As a newer barn to this show world, having the added support for our riders was amazing! Thank you all, we are excited to be here and can't wait to see what our riders will continue to accomplish in the future!!❤️❤️❤️

The Arabian Show at the Deerfield fairgrounds was such a fun show to attend! We met some absolutely wonderful people, had some amazing classes and I got to catch up with one of my closest friends! It doesn't get much better than that!!

Celina and CBMF Thomas Crown "Tate" had some of their best rides of the season, pushing themselves for one more show and it definitely paid off! The presence and composure they had in their classes, even when there was a lot going on around them was wonderful. The trust they had in each other was evident and all the practice and effort they have put in truly paid off! There will always be things to work on, but to see the growth this team had this year was beyond what I ever thought would happen and I could not be more proud!

Nick and Pleasantview's Boomer "Boomer" made their carriage driving debut at this show. Not a style of driving that we typically do, but we felt this is an area Boomer could excel in and tried to pull together some equipment and give it a go! To say they exceeded my expectations is an understatement! Nick has been working hard with his driving at home and watching as many driving classes at shows as he can and Boomer being only 4 years old and at just his third show, they just went out there and left it all in the ring. Definitely some fine tuning to do, but they looked steady, relaxed and earned themselves a third place in their qualifier and their championship! Having only driven Boomer a couple of times, I was so impressed with Nick's ability to give this young horse confidence when he needed it and the steadiness to be successful in the ring! Inquiries are invited on this outstanding young horse!

Beverly and ECP McNab "Carol" also drove as a classic pleasure driving horse and had outstanding classes! This was a change for Beverly, who only had a couple of drives with Carol prior to the show and she did a wonderful job adapting to her and allowing her to do the job she is so good at! Carol, being a seasoned show horse, was a great opportunity for Beverly to focus on fine tuning her skills and feel what it was like to drive a horse that is truly confident with their job and she did a fantastic job! This pair earned second place in their qualifier and reserve champion in the championship class! Getting to do a victory pass at a show is always exciting and I could not be more proud of the way Beverly piloted Carol around the ring to her reserve placing! Congratulations!!

Thank you so much to the show committee and staff for all of the work that goes into a show like this! We are so grateful for everything you do and we will miss this show! We are so glad that we were able to put this on our schedule for the final year! Thank you so much to everyone!!

Thank you so much to everyone at the Cheshire Fair for making our first experience there so wonderful! We brought a couple horses and they both did a great job in the ring and meeting all the visitors that stopped by!

Ellen and Tate did their first multiple day show together and made huge strides each class! It was great to see their progress together and finished their show with their very best class and even got a great comment from the judge! It was so wonderful!! Tate will be looking forward to his next show at Deerfield this coming weekend!

Maverick went to gain some more ring experience and took all of the fair noise and excitement in stride, had some wonderful classes and even brought home some ribbons, which was icing on the cake! This young horse is really learning his job and is gaining confidence day by day! Now Maverick will have a little time off before he heads to the Massachusetts Morgan show with his owner Kiley!

A huge thank you to Dominique who was supposed to be showing with us but that wasn't able to happen, but she was a huge help with braiding and support the whole show! We do not know what we would have done without you!! Thank you so so much for everything and please come and visit us whenever you want, you are always welcome!!!❤️

New England Morgan is such a special show, full of incredible horses, amazing people and a rich history for the breed! It has always been a show I look forward too and one that will forever hold a special place in my heart!! This year, I had the privilege of bringing two of my training horses and their owners and to say the week didn't consist of some nerves and excitement from all of us would be an understatement...lol!

Kiley and Maverick continue to grow as a team and not only made it through their very first NEMHS but made progress in every class, had some beautiful moments and even made it onto a judge's card! Their first show season together and Kiley's first year of walk, trot, canter is a lot to take on but these two are showing everyone that they have the determination to get the job done! They even got the attention of many people who have seen them over the course of the season and they got so many compliments on their improvements! That to me is the very best compliment!

Anna is no stranger to NEMHS but having been out of this ring for almost 20 years definitely makes you think about things. She and Jax worked hard, made huge strides over the course of the show and had some of their best rides together and also made it onto a judge's card in some very competitive classes! We still have some pieces to put together, but I am so incredibly proud of the progress this team has made over a short time and can't wait to see where they will go!

It's easy to feel like a very small fish in a very large pond at this show, but the kindness and support that was shown to us and our riders was amazing and it reminded me of what an amazing Morgan community we have! Thank you so much NEMHS for an incredible show and welcoming our little barn family with open arms, we appreciate it!! Congratulations to all of the amazing competitors and horses and a special congrats to our riders on making some very special New England memories, especially for me!!❤️

It has been a whirlwind of a stretch for us with summer camp leading right into our biggest horse show, but we made it and had a lot of fun in the process!! Camp was an absolute blast with lots of riding, learning about new and different things and lots of laughs! We had an amazing group of campers, who I hope enjoyed everything and took away some cool new information too! A big thank you to my junior counselor, Kiley, for helping me all week with organizing, scheduling and keeping things moving! Ellen McDonald Benevides came and helped the last couple of days of camp and made sure we closed things out with a bang! A huge thank you to Amy Jordan for doing a super cool talk about massage and allowing us to watch her work on a couple of the horses, it was such a cool experience for the kids!

We are so glad that we got to host camp this year and if you missed the chance to join us don't hesitate to reach out or keep following the page for other opportunities we have coming up! Don't forget to keep an eye out for us at the Milford Labor Day Parade too!😊

This weather has been tough on horses and people this week, but we are getting through it! A big thank you to everyone who has helped out at the barn in this heat, the horses and I appreciate it! Every day has consisted of changes to turnout to find the coolest times of day or night, hosing or sponging horses off to keep them cool, lots of refills on water and fans inside to keep the air moving and at least let us all think it's not really feeling like the surface of the sun outside...lol! A big thank you to MTC Electrical & Mechanical Contractors for bringing and installing our new oscillating aisle fans today, they are already making a big difference!!

Yesterday we spent a wonderful day at our second Cheshire Day Show! We had a small but mighty group of horses and riders, all with different challenges and goals to work towards and everyone accomplished those goals! I could not be more proud of the hard work, support and teamwork everyone displayed at this show and it paid off!

Ellen and Tate had some of their best rides this season, worked through some sticky moments and earned some great ribbons in big and competitive classes! Kiley and Maverick came off a challenging show the previous week and went out yesterday and left it all in the ring! This team persevered, worked hard, earned some great ribbons along with a day end reserve championship in their division but what I'm most happy with was that they had fun and got some wonderful comments from the judge! Amelia and Teddy came out the most confident they have ever been and earned some of the best rides and ribbons they have ever gotten and were honored with the day end championship for their division! I am so happy to see Amelia really believing in herself and watching her and Teddy in their classes yesterday was such a pleasure!

All of our riders hard work is paying off and I am so excited to see what they all will do next! A huge thank you to the show staff for putting on another fantastic show, we always have the best time and can't wait to be a part of the Cheshire Fair this year! Today I'm exhausted, but so so so happy!!!❤️❤️❤️
