Last night we came home with shopping bags filled with fresh duck breasts, ground beef, quail eggs, maple syrup, Woodstock creamery skyr, brownies, sourdough bread and vanilla/coffee goat soap.
The peony arrangements were gorgeous and I learned from MIMBY - Made In My Back Yard how they stay looking so beautiful.
For dinner, I had the freshest strawberry/goat cheese salad with LDF veggies and a rum & rhubarb cocktail from The Rose Room

We also met the nicest people from so many neighboring towns in CT and RI.

The cocktail shakedowns are a favored LDF summertime event. The vibe is always special and we can’t wait for the next one.
