Who says the Italians are no longer in Carroll Gardens? New York Magazine has a point but …. We started Tastes of Carroll Gardens 10 years ago with Damico Coffee Caputo’s Fine Foods Caputo Bakery Scotto's W**e Cellar Marco Polo Ristorante to celebrate and highlight the Italian culinary heritage of the neighborhood and also welcome the new, exciting chefs and food/drink establishments.
Join us October 24th for a food and drink crawl that promotes the phenomenal cuisine in this historic, brownstone Brooklyn enclave, while doing good- supporting Seeds in the Middle created by a neighbor to help overcome food inequity and insecurity.
Take a stroll and choose among nearly 20 places to eat and drink all day, including longtime Italian small businesses.

We created the event to highlight and treasure this historic neighborhood’s traditional establishments and spotlight the new.

Incredibly sad at the devastating loss of this beautiful, giving, talented young chef and person. We are so grateful that Tony donated his time and talent to our Lloyd Porter Dinner Parties/Farm Stands scholars, volunteering to teach children to cook for Seeds in the Middle at PS 262 in Bed-Stuy and always taking part in We are so sad and devastated. May he rest in peace.
