The really awesome thing about cinnamon swirl raisin bread is the technique behind it. It's different from other breads because you really want a balance of flavor. Nothing overwhelming, nothing too sweet, not too many raisins, and please please please let that swirl be swirly. In order to produce what I think is the best cinnamon raisin bread, I mixed in some whole wheat flour to the dough, used an egg wash to act as a glue (instead of butter) in order to keep my cinnamon mix from loosening the tight swirl, and I kept my raisin amount below a cup. Cripsy & Chewy Mochi Waffle (GF)

I know what you're thinking. This is some weird mash up of a waffle with a bit of rice flour. I swear its not. Its is not light and airy on the inside. It is 100% mochi. Its chewy on the inside and it's not too sweet so dipping it in a little bit of maple syrup or sugar would be perfect! What it does have of a waffle is its crispy golden exterior and that epic waffle shape we all know and love. It's so fun to rip apart and eat and its even easier to make.

Spiced Kabocha Loaf Cake (v)

If there’s anything you make from me, it should be this. It’s soOo tender and soft. It’s well seasoned with cinnamon, cloves, nutmeg, and a little gingie. But the best part is the roasted kabocha squash (a Japanese squash) that is a hybrid of a sweet potato & a pumpkin. It’s my favorite squash and I literally eat it plain with a spoon. Now I can eat it in cake form 😋

There was a point in my life where I had an egg tart at-least once a week. Whether I ordered it at dim sum or at a Chinese bakery, egg tarts were always the go to dessert. The crust is super flakey and buttery while the custard is sweet (but not too sweet) and soft. Having one warm out of the oven was such a treat when you ordered them but now I can bake them warm any time I want. They’re insanely easy to make so pick up some frozen tart shells next time your at your local Asian market!

Roasted chestnut tiramisu! So good I made it twice so far. Super light and airy chestnut cream, a light dusting of cocoa powder, and coffee soaked lady finger. 😋
