“I was born and raised in the small town Sykesville, Pennsylvania, 2 hours northeast of Pittsburgh. In March of 2022 I made the decision to travel to Ukraine and the surrounding border countries to assist refugees. On this journey, I discovered how rewarding humanitarian efforts can be and decided this was how I wanted to spend my time. Working for Matka is perfect for me because I can continue helping the refugee cause while earning a living for myself. After our success in 2025 I am very excited to be a key part of the continued growth of a new company and learning more about how to build a new brand. I’m also looking forward to seeing how we can come up with unique ways to reach those in need and make a difference in the world.”
