Had a blast yesterday making Sudanese Ka’ak كعك with . Aromas of ghee and cardamom transported us back to the kitchens of our grandmothers, mothers and aunts, and the taste and texture of these buttery, crumbly spiced cookies brought a simple joy that made us feel like we were 9 years old again.

Exciting news! My tea biscuits are now available in Manhattan at both locations of the lovely cafe. Classic Vanilla and Ginger Snap are delicious with their amazing honey oat milk latte! Vegan and gluten-free options are available too! Friends on the UES, check them out!
