MUSICIAN'S BREAKFAST* with Dylan Earl // The outlaw country artist talks about how his upbringing inspired his career, the learning process of being a musician, and why you should take a trip to Little Rock, Arkansas.

*The Musician’s Breakfast pairs a shot of Ilegal Mezcal with a cold beer. This order emerged at Café No Sé, the infamous birthplace of Ilegal Mezcal—known for its late nights, live music, and the notorious smuggling tales that define the brand spirit.

20 Years of Ilegal.

// "Thank you to all those who came along for the dusty journey. To those who carried the first clandestine bottles across borders, and to those noble pirates and nomads who filled our nights with song and story. To all the musicians of Café No Se, for the madness and spirits they conjured... and the many other troubadours across many borders, gracias. Oaxaca, Mexico…gracias. Antigua, Guatemala...gracias. Y lo mas importante, a los maestros y trabajadores que hacen el mezcal sin prisa, sin pausa, sin miedo...gracias, gracias."

- John Rexer

Nights at

// Around 2004, John Rexer began smuggling mezcal from Oaxaca, Mexico to Café No Sé, his clandestine bar and music hub in Antigua Guatemala, notorious for its weeklong parties.

John originally created the brand Ilegal just to supply the bar. On the back of each bottle of Ilegal you will find it says "Originally produced for: Café No Sé, Mezcal Bar."
