I took my camera out to the garden with me this evening. Here are just a few of the newest blooms. River’s Can’t Elope and Fawn are really living up to hype! The Zinnias (pics 14 & 15) are starting to come in too. And pic 16 is a strawflower. I only planted a few of them. But I do like them and plan to add more next year! Do you have a favorite?

I found this quote from a book by Heather Webber and thought it would be perfect to us on a video. Ranunculus are so beautiful! They are a smaller flower (in comparison to peonies or even many roses) and so I think people tend to overlook them, or think they are too expensive. But, they are packed with petals! And when they are cut correctly, (at an angle, with a blade) they will open up more and get bigger, and can last up to two weeks!
It’s bee so warm, I figured they wouldn’t be happy, but I’m actually getting a lot of blooms right now.
