We have u-pick apples from mid-August to mid-November. Trees are kept small so it is easy to pick. No ladders allowed. Very well marked and organized.

The greenhouse tables are filling up more every day, and we're getting excited to get these plants in the ground for the 2026 season!
Starting everything in the greenhouse helps us dial in the timing so everything ripens right alongside our apples. 🍅 🌶️ 🍉

Thankful for our hard working seasonal employees! They have battled an unseasonally warm spring with surprise frost threats, yet they continue to give 100% effort to get our trees pollinated. Our trees are bursting with blooms this year, so they've got quite a job ahead of them. 🐝

FINAL DAY OF THE 2025 SEASON

Today is our FINAL DAY of the 2025 Apple Season. What a season it has been! We have had an amazing crop this year and were thrilled to be able to stay open well into November.
We had a ton of fun this year, and loved getting to visit and share our orchard with all of you. We had a lot of new customers this year that we were excited to welcome, and also a LOT of customers that have returned every year since we got started. We are so grateful for all of you and the fun we can all have on our farm.
We are especially grateful to our staff for working tirelessly throughout the Apple season. This year we were much busier than we could have ever hoped for, and they were eager and happy to jump in at the stand and worked so hard to help make this season a great success. We were also especially excited to see many of our younger 4th generation family members wanting to jump in and help out.
One of the highlights from this season was being voted Best Apple Orchard in all of Oregon. This was a contest that was run by Oregon Live and voted on by YOU! We were so thrilled to just be mentioned in the contest and never dreamed of winning. We are forever humbled by all of our customers that enjoyed our orchard so much that you were voting for us. THank you SO much for your support.
We now are breaking out our seed books, and getting our planning hats on for next year. We can't wait to see what new ideas we come up with next.

BREAK OUT YOUR PIE PANS

Thanksgiving is right around the corner. That means Apple Pie! We have 5 varieties to choose from that are all great for baking that perfect apple pie. Choose the classic Grannysmith, or branch out and try a new variety. Better yet, do what we do and try a mix of varieties in one pie. We have found that putting a few varieties in one pie adds a great complex apple flavor. All of the remaining apples are also great for storing and can last several months!
We also still have some of our Gold Rush apples that are absolutely the best choice to make cider, great for eating and baking too. We love having warmed cider in a crock at the holidays! Come get some while we still have them.

SUNSHINE AND APPLES

The rain has cleared and the sunshine is out! It is perfect weather to come pick some fall Apples.
Since we have so many great storing apples available for picking, we thought we would give our best advice for how to make those apples store for as long as possible.
Your very first step to a long lasting apple is to TAKE IT OUT OF THE BAG! Bags have eased the picking and taking home of our apples, but we have realized you may not be aware that the bag should just be for transportation. Apples release ethylene gas, and if they are in a plastic bag, that gas will make them ripen much faster. So start by taking those apples out of those bags!
Next, you want to think of a cool dark place. Root cellar is best, but for those of us without a cellar, a garage can suffice. Just make sure your apples won't be getting hit by the sunlight from a window everyday, that will make the temperature of your apples fluctuate and ripen faster. A cardboard box is great for storing. Ideally, the apples would be in a single layer.
For those of us who do not have much garage space on shelves, a garage fridge will do as well. But there is a bit of moisture in a fridge so this method might last 2-3 months instead of 3-4 months.
The varieties we have that are great for storing are Rome Beauty, Braeburn, Cripps Pink, Grannysmith, and Gold Rush.

DAYLIGHT SAVINGS HOURS

November is here! It came fast for us and we are shocked to be already changing our hours for daylight savings time. With the sun setting earlier, we have bumped up our closing time to 5 o'clock instead of 6 o'clock.
We are still open 7 days a week with plenty of apples still to choose from. There are 7 varieties available and 5 of those are storing apples that can last 3-6 months.
Tomatoes are just about done, but with some hunting, Romas can still be found on the vines.

OPEN UNTIL MID-END OF NOVEMBER

We are in the second half of the season and have an abundance of Ripe and Ready Apples to be picked!
We have 8 varieties to choose from right now. Five of those are storing apples that can last for 3-6 months when stored properly. This will be the last weekend for a couple of the early season varieties. If you were still wanting a few Jonagold, this is the weekend to pick them.
We have orange traffic cones down the rows indicating where the loaded trees can be found. Trees will be empty until you get to those cones. Don't feel like you can make the long walk down the rows? Just give us a call or send us a message and we will have a Beilke Box ready for you for pickup. We always have a variety to choose from of pre-picked apples at the stand.
Tomatoes are winding down but still can be found. Slicers are done for the year, but Romas, with some hunting, are still out there and ready.

PUMPKINS AND TRAFFIC CONES

It is getting spooky in the Apple Orchard! We are heading into Halloween week and we are ready for it. The pumpkin patch has lots of classic carving pumpkins still ready to be found.
The Apples are still doing great but we are definitely at the second half of the rows for picking. We have orange traffic cones down the rows indicating where the loaded trees can be found. Trees will be empty until you get to those cones. Don't feel like you can make the long walk down the rows? We have a large crop this year and are excited to be open until mid-end of November.
Tomatoes are getting hit by the rain. The Romas in the first few rows are still pickable, but the slicers will most likely be hard to find.
