🐐🌿 WE’RE HIRING: FARM MANAGER!
ROSE Therapeutic Farm in Brookshire, TX is looking for an experienced, dependable and hands-on Farm Operations & Guest Experience Manager to join our team!
We’re looking for someone who has the unique combination of farm-animal experience, leadership skills AND great customer service.
This is not a desk management position. Our manager will work alongside the team, help oversee the daily operation of the farm, care for animals, lead employees and make sure our guests have an amazing experience.
🐄 ANIMAL & FARM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Our ideal candidate has hands-on experience caring for goats and other livestock/farm animals and understands the realities of working on a farm.
Experience should include some combination of:
Daily feeding, watering and animal care
Recognizing changes in animal health or behavior
Parasites and other common livestock illnesses
Vaccines, dewormers, medications and basic treatments
Caring for newborns, babies and/or bottle-fed animals
Safely handling livestock
Cleaning pens and completing everyday farm chores
Veterinary technician experience is a PLUS, but is NOT required. Real-world livestock and farm experience is what we're looking for!
👩🌾 MANAGEMENT & DAILY OPERATIONS
This person will help:
Lead and supervise farm and guest-experience employees
Assign responsibilities and make sure daily tasks are completed properly
Train and support team members
Oversee animal-care routines
Conduct daily farm walkthroughs
Keep the property clean, organized, safe and guest-ready
Identify maintenance, animal-care and operational issues
Monitor supplies and communicate what is needed
Troubleshoot problems and take action without waiting to be told every step
Communicate important updates directly with the owner

ROSE is an agritourism farm, so loving people is just as important as loving animals.
Our manager will interact with families, children, groups and other guests throughout the week and help oversee our busy weekend experiences and events.
We're looking for someone who is friendly, confident and professional and understands how to create an exceptional customer experience.

We need someone who notices things and takes ownership.
If an animal isn't acting normally, an employee missed something, a gate isn't secure, an area needs attention or a guest needs help—you notice it and take care of it.
You should be:
Dependable and punctual
Organized and proactive
A strong communicator
Comfortable leading others
Able to work independently and make good decisions
Comfortable working outdoors and getting dirty
Physically capable of performing farm work
Comfortable working in Texas weather
Available some weekdays and most weekends
⏰ HOURS & PAY
Approximately 30–35 hours per week
Some weekdays + most weekends
💰 Pay dependent on Experience
