One of our favorite Fourth of July traditions is taking the Pumpkin Vine Express to town for the parade! There’s nothing quite like celebrating our country’s birthday surrounded by our community, making memories, and sharing a little farm fun along the way.

Supporting local kids and giving back to our community is something that’s important to us. However, we failed at getting a team picture by our banner this year 🤦‍♀️
Thank you to Frontier Summer Recreation for all you do to make the season a great experience for so many families.

🇺🇸 Fourth of July weekend on the pumpkin farm! 🇺🇸

Whew…it’s been a HOT one! This week has been spent harvesting wheat and baling straw that’ll soon become your favorite fall decorations. There’s always something to do on the farm, and we’re grateful for every season it brings!

We hope everyone has a safe and happy 4th of July weekend! ❤️🤍💙

Looks like our little pumpkins aren’t the only babies growing in the field! 🎃🦌

We spotted this sweet little fawn enjoying the pumpkin patch, reminding us that summer is full of new beginnings. As our pumpkins continue to grow, it’s always a treat to share the fields with some of nature’s cutest visitors.

Fall is getting a little closer every day, and we can’t wait to welcome everyone back to Kent’s Cucurbits LLC!!

Memorial Day weekend at the our farm 🎃

We’ve been busy around here! Started planting our 24 acres of pumpkins, building a new barn, and the kids have been working hard with their 4-H animals.

Life on the farm takes a lot of hard work and long days, but we wouldn’t have it any other way. It truly takes the whole family working together to make it all happen, and we’re grateful for every moment of it.

Check this out! If you look closely, you can see a cloud of pollen being released all at once from the cereal rye cover crop. Definitely not something you see every day! 🌾

Spring is here, and the first green you see on our farm is our cereal rye cover crop 🌱 This is the very ground where your pumpkins and fall decorations will grow later this season!

We plant cereal rye not just for a great pumpkin crop, but because it helps protect our soil from wind and rain, keeps nutrients where they belong, and holds in moisture during those hot summer months—giving you the best pumpkins around 🎃
