Kern Food / Webber Farms Sausage Webber Farms is located on the AA highway in Bracken County Kentucky, near the Ohio river.

After a fire destroyed the original Webber Farms sausage plant located in Cynthiana Kentucky in 1991 a lot of changes took place. Webbers is currently distributed out of our modern facility that can be best described as “squeaky clean and ice cold”. We make sure that our products are handled at the correct temperature until its arrival to the retailer insuring that your Webber Farms product is fre

sh and safe. According to Webster’s Dictionary there are almost 100 definitions for “Break”, but only one for Breakfast: “The first meal of the day”. Your breakfast probably varies at different times and stages of your life, you may even skip it during one of your dieting schemes. But if you are honest with yourself you know how good and productive you feel when you take time and enjoy a good breakfast. You might know that we are a 100% family-owned business. But you may not know that before we serviced the large area we do today… before the fleet of trucks… before the wide variety of products we carry… there was just one small box truck and a big idea, thanks to this man.

Back in 1982, our founder E.B. Kern was working in the slaughtering business when he decided to start making his own product, Kern’s sausage.

In those early days, E.B. realized something important. Local retailers didn’t just need good products…they needed a reliable partner who could consistently deliver them. So the first Kern's route was created where his very own sausage was delivered. Some of the other brands that were added to those first deliveries were Webber Farms and Kahn’s, brands many of you still know today! With time, the routes grew. More stores were added. That single truck turned into multiple trucks… and eventually into the fleet that now serves our customers across a the region.

While the original Kern’s sausage brand eventually became part of our history, the mission behind it never changed: provide quality products and dependable service at great prices.

In a way, our story has come full circle. Today we’re proud to carry that legacy forward as the owners of the Webber Farms line of breakfast meats — continuing the tradition that started decades ago when E.B.'s business first began delivering breakfast meats out of that small box truck.
