Having spent 34 years as a horticulturist/florist she sold her business in the spring of 2006 and moved with her husband to Goodnight Farm in Brooksville, Maine. With the urgings of her father she began to weave simple market baskets to sell at local Farmer's Markets. From that humble beginning her baskets have evolved with style, form and creativity. Many of her new themes have been inspired by h

A friend mentioned this spring that she was going to plant a sunflower labyrinth in support of Ukraine. I thought it was a wonderful idea and planted a small one in a portion of my garden. It's approximately 30 feet in diameter with 170 dwarf sunflowers.

I have been having trouble with my page. Had an email saying it is a "gray" account and will be taken down. Have no idea what that means. But I have been working on projects for Farmers Market. I recently saw on the morning show that one of this summers "hot" trends is to wear your "initial" on a necklace. So trying some letters in wire woven copper. I will be adding 22" silverplated chains. The "initials" measure about 1-1/4 inches high. Almost up to the letter "J".

Happy St Patty's Day! Looking forward to the first day of spring which will bring my perennial favorites, one of which is the dragonfly. I have been working on a wire woven brooch. Crafted in pure copper wire and Austrian Swarovski crystals it measures 3" by 3.5" . It would look lovely on a shawl.

Raba-roo! Bouncing in just in time for Easter! 5" high carrying a decorated egg with baby kitten/joey tucked in her pouch. Raba-roo, you see, is a cross between a rabbit and a kangaroo. Since baby rabbits are called kittens, baby Raboo must be a kitten/joey.
