Have any of our goat friends done casein testing? Thinking about it for some of our does!

ALPHA s1 CASEIN TESTING If you are interested in this testing for your does or bucks, the request form can be found at the ADGA Forms page. Sampling is the same as for other DNA testing services. Sampling instructions. The α s1-casein is a protein polymorphism of goat milk first described in Europe...

We had our 2 pigs processed at The Stockyards- a USDA facility. We ended up with a lot of pork! They were purebred Hampshire and Berkshire hogs. If you’re interested in some, we’re selling it by the pound! Cuts are below!

If you’d like a 1/2 hog, it includes all the cuts and ends up being about 70-80 pounds of meat for $500.

We had a great time at the Indiana State Fair! We got to see William’s county fair small engine project and both kids did dairy goat showmanship/showed in the 4-H and open rings.

Every year I love seeing the quality of dairy goats at our state fair. I enjoy watching the breeds and admiring the beautiful goats in our state.

Our Jr doe, Willful Minis M Meringue was Jr Champion in the 4-H Ring- really loving our first fresheners and looking forward to seeing them mature!
