Meal Prep Monday:
Who Says Bulking up has to be so boring. After successfully dropping 40 pounds off the scale my next transition into my fitness journey is building muscle and bulking up! Traditionally, according to some of the most successful body builders, bulking up consists of Chicken (protein), Rice (carbs) and Broccoli (Fiber). While this is true, eating those meals the traditional way can be quite boring. Casseroles, are fun.
Ingredients:
Chicken
Rice-O-Roni
Broccoli
Onion
Garlic
Carrot Shavings

Prep Time: 15 minutes
Cook time: 15 minutes

Tips for success: Use an air fryer to cook protein to help retain moisture and keep chicken from drying out. Store food in microwaveable ZipLock bags to help retain moisture as well (also if you’re anything like me and always leave containers at work throw away Zip Lock bags can save money in the long run)
