Stearns County Fair Week is over and it was great to see so many friends and kids over the past few days! One impactful part of the week is the Saturday morning livestock auction, which provides dollars to kids (80%) and 4-H (20%) for encouragement of their projects and the program. We’d like to thank On The Money Hoof Care and A and H Concrete for bidding on our projects - and many others! Henry and Lucy were fortunate to be in the auction and will split their earnings between savings, some fun money and buying supplies and projects for next year.

Join us, Saturday, July 11th, for our free summer concert series, Acoustics in the Alfalfa, featuring Darren Quam & Friends.
Spend the evening in the alfalfa with live music, dancing, fresh curds, and all the good summer things. Bring a lawn chair or blanket, gather your crew, and don’t forget a sensible pair of dancing shoes.

Redhead Creamery will be selling drinks and food on site.

This event is complimentary to attend. Guests are welcome to make voluntary donations if they wish to support the performers and Redhead Creamery.

See you in the field!

If you’ve been on the farm tour, you’ve heard the history of the land and people who created what is now Jer-Lindy Farms, including the nearby history of the Jennissen family. In his development of Bernadotte Bourbon, Lucas dusted off the history of his great-great-grandfather Charles Sjostrom, who stepped off a train July 3, 1885, about 2 blocks from where this bourbon was distilled in New Ulm Minnesota. You can read more about this bourbon and the family’s history in a multi-part story at Redhead Creamery Spirits, and you get get a bottle of this single barrel release at our shop.
