This is Grandpa's silo. The barn and haymow from where we swung out the door and into the heavens on a h**p rope was downed in a tornado while he was still alive and saw it all from the back porch.

With the last sunset of October, the growing season is offically kaput! But....we still have roasting chickens in our freezer for the holidays. Our birds range from 4pounds to 7 pounds. Pasture-raised and fattened on organic feed, roasted beans and minerals from the sea. We also have gizzards and feet for that gelatinous, healing broth. Thanks and Happy Autumn!

I have lots of Music organic garlic on hand if you want some. Much of the garden has been a bust this year but nothing bothers the garlic. Also, our second batch of chickens will be butchered the first week in September, available for pickup after September 15th.
