Wiseman Family Farm

We are a small family farm with six generations of experience. We tend the animals and the land with care and desire to give our customers great products.

Wiseman Family Farm is a multigenerational family farm that has been working the land and tending the animals for over 100 years with some of the farm ground being purchased in 1861. The original farm once consisted of raising corn, soybeans, wheat, horses, cows, chickens, and hogs, but with changing times we decided to specialize and focus our attention strictly on grain and hogs. This allowed us

to produce a better animal and grain product, however in 2008 government regulations, aging facilities and poor hog markets caused us to make the tough decision and become strictly a grain operation. With two families to feed, and more in the future, we began to explore others areas of income and sustainability. In 2013 Nicholas began to raise honeybees to help pollination and produce honey and in 2015 Marvin brought a few hogs back to the farm to raise specialized meat products (antibiotic free pork).

We are down to one girl puppy looking for her new home! She is an ABCA Registered Border Collie. She will be 14 weeks old on Tuesday. She’s been enjoying going on car rides to town, side by side rides, and going to the boys’ baseball games. She will walk on a leash, started on potty training, and starting early commands. We still have some puppies available! Ready to go now! They are Registered ABCA Border Collies, 10 weeks old, up to date on vaccinations, starting on potty training and early commands. They get played with constantly by multiple children, loving car rides to town, and hanging out at the ball field. They will make a great family pet! We have quite the litter of border collies here on the farm. They are so playful now and get lots of loving all day from the kids! There’s usually no fewer than 3 puppies in the house throughout the day. These registered border collies are 6 weeks old today and will be ready for new homes very soon! Black morels for sale. The boys picked over 2.6 lbs. They are selling for $110. Less than $42/lb. Must be picked up at our house tomorrow Monday, April 1st.

Kids picked a bunch of Black Morel mushrooms today. putting this out there to see if anyone is interested. $45/lb. Minimum of 1lb. We have 3-4lbs. Must pick up at our house tomorrow.
