One of my favorite reviews said, “it feels like you’re going to eat at a friend’s home, and there you are in the restaurant!”

And that was the point, honestly. It’s home away from home for me, and every day I get to share it with you guys is another day of living my biggest Martha Stewart hosting dreams 🥹

As fall (and our 5th anniversary) approaches, I’m feeling sappy and grateful and just wanted to say thank you guys blessing me with another year in this business and this town! I’ve made lifelong friends—guests AND employees—through Brie & Bartlett.

GOOD NEWS UPDATE!!
So the biggest thing about owning a business is that your job, first and foremost, is putting out fires all day every day. (Unless I’m doing it wrong. That’s entirely possible)

The hardest thing about THIS part has been finding someone to work on a bus/food truck, because as you can imagine, you can’t just call Big O for this (I tried😂). It’s been draining and discouraging, but we’re persistent. After weeks of calling around and unfruitful diagnostic appointments for an electrical issue I couldn’t tackle, she is FINALLY up and running and we’re doing the final touches inside!

The universe has a plan, and it usually ends up being way better than mine was anyway. We’re so excited to get on the dang road already, and I can’t wait to tell you guys what an adventure this has been. 😂

We ARE taking bookings for October, and are planning our first few appearances around town! Next up: tomorrow we’re posting the food truck menu 👀

These can be ordered for dine in and adjusted to your table size—if you’ve got more than 2 people, we’ll just make your board bigger!

These have been a HIT this week, but I think Picnic in Paris is still the shop favorite. 👀 What do you think??

As B&B keeps growing, something we hear more & more is people wanting the option to choose their board ingredients.

And that’s totally fair! We’ve always been a chef’s choice kind of place so every board is a surprise, and we like that…..but not everybody likes surprises. I get it!

If you were gonna change anything about online ordering, would you:

A. Add 2-3 themed boards (like the Picnic & Paris or Roman Holiday boards we posted last week) and keep chef’s choice an option, so you know what you’re getting

Or

B. Make it a “build your own” situation where you get to choose some of your own ingredients? 

In the meantime, feast your eyes (and tummy??) on this gorgeous 20-person board we created yesterday!
