So… how did a Pop-Up Carnival end up at the Fayette County Fairgrounds? 🎡
We know this event came as a surprise — it was a surprise to us, too!
On Saturday, a carnival company reached out to the Fayette County Fair Association looking for a location where they could set up their carnival for five days. We thought, what better place for a carnival than the Fayette County Fairgrounds?
This opportunity came together very quickly, which is why there wasn't a lot of advance notice. We are thankful we were able to provide them with a location and bring an unexpected five days of carnival fun to Fayette County!

Wednesday, Aug. 26: 5–9 p.m.
Thursday, Aug. 27: 5–9 p.m.
Friday, Aug. 28: 5–10 p.m.
Saturday, Aug. 29: 1–5 p.m. AND 6–10 p.m.
Sunday, Aug. 30: 1–6 p.m.
⚠️ IMPORTANT SATURDAY INFORMATION:
Saturday is divided into two separate carnival sessions. The afternoon session runs from 1–5 p.m. and the evening session runs from 6–10 p.m. A separate armband purchase is required for each session. An afternoon armband will not be valid for the evening session.
There is NO gate admission or parking fee for this event! Just come out, park and enjoy the carnival!
We realize a last-minute event won't fit everyone's schedule, but we're excited to have the opportunity to welcome the carnival and give our community one more chance to enjoy some carnival fun before summer comes to an end.
