I caught a whole bunch of turkey hens wandering right past the stand and into my front yard, and honestly, I love it so much. 🥰 There’s just something about little unexpected moments like this that make living out here extra special. 🏆🐔 SEPTEMBER EMPLOYEE OF THE MONTH 🐔🏆

Please join us in congratulating Ruby, our September Employee of the Month here at Reeds & Sons | Daily Bread Farmstand! 😂❤️

Ruby is a Rhode Island Red and one of the sweetest girls on the farm. She is loving, gentle, and actually lets us love on her — which is a pretty big deal when you’re a chicken! 🥰🐔

But Ruby isn’t just here for cuddles… she WORKS. 😂

🥚 She is an excellent egg producer and helps provide the beautiful brown eggs you find at our farm stand.

🪱 Her favorite employee perk? MEALWORMS. She LOVES them. 😂

🐔 Her other responsibilities include hanging around the coop, being adorable, accepting affection from management, and generally making everyone smile.

🎃🍪 NEW Pumpkin Spice Chocolate Chip Cookies! 🍪🎃

It’s officially pumpkin spice season, so I had to give my classic chocolate chip cookies a little September makeover! 🍂

These are made with my regular chocolate chip cookie recipe, but I added pumpkin spice and cinnamon seasoning to give them that warm, cozy pumpkin spice edge without overpowering the chocolate chips. 🤎

Basically… your favorite chocolate chip cookie + a little taste of fall. 🎃🍪

They’re available NOW at the farm stand!
