Manor Line Ranch Local, grass-fed beef. The best beef in Virginia. We are a Virginia Beef Quality Assurance Certified Producer, and are registered as a Johne's prevention herd.

Manor Line Ranch is a multi-generational family farm nestled on 700 rolling acres near the northern end of the Shenandoah National Park. Our cattle are home raised, grass fed, and grass finished. We use only organic, non-GMO feed, seeds and fertilizers for our animals and pastures that we acquire from well known local vendors. We don't administer any antibiotics or hormones to our cattle, nor do we use additives or preservatives. The result is really delicious, very low fat meat that we imagine you'll enjoy as much as our family has for generations.

Thank you to everyone from Warren County Fire and Rescue, the power company, Front Royal Energy Services, and every local with a chainsaw who has helped open up our roads this morning!

Browntown got slammed by the storm last night, and it looks like it’ll be a while before power and internet are back on for everybody - counted more than a dozen trees and large branches down on power lines just while out checking the cows. Take care out there if you have to be out and about today, and if you see one of us working on clearing trees from the roads, please slow down and give some extra space. Thank you!

We finally have our sign back up at the main farm! Feels like home!

The original was hand painted in the mid 1950’s by a dear friend of my grandma, and my dad made a new one in the late ‘80’s. I didn’t hand paint this one, but the digital age let me reproduce the shapes of the original pretty accurately. So so glad to have our sign back up!

Occasionally people ask whether our cows get cold in the winter, and usually I just joke that they’re fine because they’re all wearing those nice fur lined leather jackets! Truth is so long as they have enough fresh food and water they’re way more resilient to cold than we are, but on nights as cold as tonight everybody gets extra hay to eat and extra to bed down in! Finished rolling out extra bales just in time to catch this sunset… seemed kind of poetical that the coldest night in a good while the sky looked like it was on fire…
