Last forage chopping day of the 2026 season. This sorghum was planted around the 1st of June after we took a cutting of wheat. The sorghum did good at 20 ton per acre. We have a great inventory of good forage for the coming year.

The view from the cockpit of this hungry Claas chopper. Pretty amazing to see 12’ tall corn with big ears pulverized to great cow feed. Over 10000 lbs per minute.

3 dry days and we are back chopping directly into the trucks. The corn crop is excellent this year!

The new Claas is filling the trucks really fast. Heavy third cutting of alfalfa and using this machine was very impressive. Looking forward to see how it will do in corn this fall.
