It's August, so we are getting things put in place for another Fun Fall here at BitterSweet Farms!

⭐️We still have room available for Vendors. Please reach out if you would like to set up a table to sell your products.

⭐️ We still have dates available for groups to run the concessions as their fundraiser.

We are looking forward to another fun Fall here in Bruce, Wi!

Has anyone else noticed how horrible the Japanese Beetles are this year?

This is the worst I can remember them being. They are all over our bean plants, sweet corn, raspberries, and sunflowers. Not to mention my pretty flowers. 😒

Just picking them off into soapy water gets some but I can not spend all day circling the property picking bugs.

We do not spray pesticides here as we have little ones who have this as their living buffet and eat everything. They also love to touch and smell all the flowers.

So when at the Co-op the other day they had these traps and I thought well lets try them...

WOW!!!

This is 48 hours worth of Japanese Beetle collection. Most of them were trapped in the first 24 hours!!!

We are seeing less bugs on plants.

We have out 3 bags and going to get more.

Its scary the sheer amount of these nasty little bugs there are this year.

Give it a try if you are having issues too
