Did you know?

Bayfield Farms was named in honor of the USS Bayfield, a troop transport ship that my grandfather was stationed on during WWII. This ship fought in Normandy, Southern France, Iwo Jima, and Okinawa. Yogi Berra, amongst others was a shipmate on the Bayfield. You can learn more about the ship if you are ever at the Utah Beach museum in Normandy, France.

Enjoyed another Lowcountry Turkey Invitational! This is the 13th year and the most attended event ever. This event raises funds for the non-profit Lowcountry Game Bird Foundation to fund Wild Turkey Research. Bayfield Farms was proud to be a sponsor again this year.

Hunting conditions were less than ideal with the winds, but a few teams scratched out some good birds. Congrats to the winners!

Thank you to Scott Rhodes and the LCGBF Board for putting on a fantastic event!
