The quest began four years ago. It started with a request from a local storefront that was searching for a cookie jar favorite to sell on their countertop. The requirements were specific: Crispy on the outside, soft and chewy on the inside, slightly salty, with chunks of dark chocolate. Six weeks of a kitchen chemistry lab of Tupperware's and mixing bowls and 27 recipes later, the perfect chocola
