We couldn't agree more 👏 Keeping your money local goes further than you think!

When is the last time a Brazilian rancher supported your after prom party? When is the last time a Chinese owned hog farm took all the cards off the Christmas giving tree? Did they give to the “go fund me” for your neighbor kid with cancer?

Have they showed up to Christmas carol or lead your 4-H club? Did they gather the kids and clean up the road ditches? When was the last time they volunteered for the school board or ran for town mayor? Gosh, I don’t think I have ever seen them at a single community event, especially the ones where wallets are open and all the hands are helping to make something better.

How you choose to spend your money, matters. Your local economy means anything and everything to keeping communities alive.
Shop local.
Shop small.

Most of all, THINK before you spend.
There is a reason why we get asked to secure our own oxygen mask, before we help the one next to us.
Frankly, we can do both.
But we must take care of business at home, FIRST.

Charlotte and her best friend Fin, working cattle this morning at 6 AM. Little rough around the edges but making memories with our friends!

The last of our 2026 calves was born this afternoon! Born 5 days overdue and backwards, this little bull calf arrived today in a way that definitely got our hearts pumping! While I think Basil could've pushed him out herself eventually, it would've likely been too late. Glad we caught her when we did!

The whole herd stood around providing moral support of course.

We are so incredibly thankful for Cedar Creek Pastures 🙌 After sending the kids to find the dad's, we got this guy hung up to clear his lungs of fluid and then he was well on his way!

A little bit of life in the herd! With a combined four babies on the ground already, we sure love spending extra time in the pasture!

Cedar Creek Pastures / Cedar Creek Pastures Page have been been great caretakers when we arent around!

We cant wait to get the cattle chute set up and put to work!
