We’ve been quiet for awhile - life’s been crazy! But apparently, it’s National Dog Day, so we should celebrate! Meet the canines in our family - Brandy, who is always watching to make sure the barn cats and Fed Ex drivers are doing what they should. And Frendo - who at age 16, mostly just naps :)

Yesterday we moved the last of the cows and calves to the pasture with the rest of the herd. It will be strange to not see cows from the house for a few months!

It was a hot one this week! Thankfully all the people and animals made it through safely. We try our best not to stress the animals out more - so it means that we do as little as we can with them and just make sure they have what they need. But we did have a new set of kittens born Wednesday! It’s hard to tell from the picture - 2 all black and 2 black/white.

Last night we brought the Bull over to the summer pastures to join the cows. Just two cows left at the home farm - hopefully calving soon.
