The Queen of our herd is at it again! Published in over 60 countries and 5 languages, we appreciate Holstein International for recognizing Coco’s achievements! After a recent trip to the UW Vet Hospital, Coco is back and closing in on 300,000 pounds of lifetime milk!

In May we did a whole herd classification with Holstein Association USA! Special thank you to everyone that helped get the girls looking their best during a busy time of year, including Tom Stieve, Les Schmidt, Ethan Palmer, and Logan Harbaugh.

We are proud to share that we have received the Herd of Excellence Award!

Austin, Dan and Julie put in a lot of hard work, dedication, and hours to be an 8 year honoree. A big thank you to every person and business that helps us keep the farm running in tip top shape!

HERDS OF EXCELLENCE AWARD RECIPIENT

Our final honoree in Division 3 (10-99 Cows) is Doorco Holsteins, the Vandertie Family, residing in Brussels, WI.

Nestled between the shores of Lake Michigan and Green Bay, Doorco Holsteins- Vandertie's Doorco Farms is home to 40 cows. The Vandertie family has been recognized with the Progressive Breeders’ Registry (PBR) award for the past 51 years and takes pride in catering to their herd. This includes providing high quality forages and ensuring their cows are comfortable.

“Having records behind the cows, and showing people the dam, or better yet, sisters of a young sire that they’re looking at, is a benefit,” Dan says. “Sometimes we can show them three generations that are milking and people are just amazed.”

We're looking for help!

Dan & Juls are trying to retire EVEN FURTHER - at least part time 😉

Looking for AM, PM, Weekday and Weekend help - any combination of your liking. Duties would be Milking, Feeding, driving equipment etc - all aspects of the farm. Of course we will train anyone, even if you've never worked on a farm before. If you have, GREAT!

Must be willing to listen to directions and do things the way we ask. Any age can apply!

We can be flexible on days of the week/weekends
