Freeze dried breast milk is a convenient, safe, and healthy way to preserve your breast milk and the important nutrients it offers your baby. The process involves a special freeze drying technique that removes the water from the breast milk using a low-temperature evaporation technique called sublimation. The freeze-drying process prevents nutrient degradation and high lipase which is caused by long-term freezer storage. Unlike regular freezing, the freeze-drying process does not affect the beneficial proteins and carbohydrates found in your breast milk. This is extremely important to baby’s health and development. Additionally, the freeze-drying process preserves the immune system’s transfer of proteins, such as IgA, IgM & IgG immunoglobulins (antibodies).

Immediately upon receiving a package of frozen breast milk, we examine all bags, weigh the entire order received and perform a temperature control check before placing the breast milk into our commercial freezer where it will remain until we begin processing! All orders are labeled with your name, order number and date received!

We send an email confirmation as soon as possible once all these steps have been completed, accompanied with a photo of the weight and temperature we took for your reference!
