Okay we couldn’t let y’all wait long—here’s current progress on the space! 🎉

Arches, gone! Carpet and ceiling fans? Gone! New hallway? Built! Stained concrete flooring and black ceiling tiles are coming in next and I cannot WAIT to see what it does to this space! Kevin Caffey and Revival Living Interiors have been KILLING IT and Rainbow Restoration of BCS & Magnolia TX has been a massive asset getting so many big projects underway…we are SO EXCITED!

A decade ago Mitch and Keller had a fun dream to bring Texas BBQ to Louisville/Cincinnati where we lived at the time, and Tejas BBQ was born. A fun side hustle of festivals and breweries and late nights and babies and weekends full of memories. When we moved back to Texas in 2018 we thought our BBQ days were over.

Fast-forward 8 years and here we are about to open our own BBQ spot, and getting to work an event again with Keller (and Katie in spirit 😏♥️). It’s so fun looking back on what we thought was just a fun side hustle and seeing the stepping stones that led us here. Thanks Tejas for paving the way 🫶🏼

I started recording to capture our middle kiddo helping dad cook, and caught his little sister giving the most heart felt encouragement to him while he did 🥹😍

One of the sweetest parts of being a family owned business is all the ways we get to see our family be a part of this adventure♥️
