Ever found a rough earth snake in your beds? These little guys are great in low numbers, preying on slugs and other pests. They are also docile and do not harbor venom, making them fairly safe to handle...if you’re not already freaked out by snakes, haha! Personally, I love handling snakes and it’s always a joy to find a rough earth snake while gardening.
