12 June – Movie Night upstairs! Classic flick, free popcorn, Blackwater Bites sammies—comfy vibes guaranteed.
13 June – Charity Beard Competition! $20 to enter, $10 for kids’ categories. Kids can compete in up to two categories. Every dollar supports su***de prevention in the Brazos Valley—cheer or compete for a cause!
14 June – Yoga with Brittany, 12–1 PM. Stretch, breathe, and reward yourself (maybe with a brew)!
18 June – Brush & Brews! 6 - 9 PM. Watercolor with Javier—ready-to-go drawings, no experience needed. RSVP: [email protected]
20 June – ARTSTEP in Downtown Bryan! Art, music, pop-ups, shopping, and a rooftop afterparty—don’t miss Bryan’s artist night.
26 June – 🎤 **Get Ready for Open Mic Night!** 🎶 Join us upstairs starting at 6:30, with gear provided by and hosted by the Hyatus Band. If you’re interested in showcasing your talent, come on over—it’s a fun way to connect with local musicians and be part of our community!
28 June – Our monthly standing date with Cousins Maine Lobster 12 - 8 PM! Plus, a Sunday session of Brush & Brews from 1–5 PM. Come for the lobster, stay for the painting (or vice versa).

Hey, everyone.

We’ve got some sad news to share, and honestly, our hearts are a bit heavier today. About a month ago, we welcomed a street cat into our lives and named her Opal. She didn’t just crash the party—she became the life of it, charming everyone with her big personality. Opal was adventurous to a fault: despite all the fresh water a cat could dream of, she insisted on conducting her own taste tests of every puddle in sight. Last night, that curiosity got the best of her when she drank from a puddle of leaking antifreeze near a parked car. She didn’t make it, but we’re comforted knowing she’ll be laid to rest with a little headstone next to downtown OG, Lennox Lewis—mighty company indeed.

Hey, everyone!
Big, exciting update on Brush & Brews—it’s been a smash hit! Thank you so much for all the love, enthusiasm, and awesome returning artists. To keep the magic going, I’m sticking with two set dates: the 3rd Thursday and the last Sunday of every month. But if you and at least three friends want a private B&B session, just holler and I’ll make it happen!
This June, botanicals are Roses and Honeysuckles, painted in a playful impressionist vibe or a bold, Japanese-inspired watercolor style. Or, let’s get wild—want to channel your inner Gemini or Cancer? Picture a big, gnarly crab or a twin/two-headed trope!
