Sorry to my customers, I have done something to my knee so I can’t put weight on it so I will not be at First Friday today or The Farmers Market in Brazos County tomorrow.

So usually we take Jan and February off but surprise! SLG farm will be The Farmers Market in Brazos County this Saturday. Need something special for Valentine’s Day. How about our Sheep Milk Caramels! If you have had them, you know. 🙂
Also will have a few Valentine Themed watercolor cards as well. Plus a small amount of Hawaiian vanilla bean paste. This is a premium vanilla bean and we used a Hawaiian vodka so the price will be more than our regular vanilla paste.
Also, will have greenhouse tomatoes. Not alot with the cold weather we kept the plants alive more than ripening weather.
The weather will be beautiful so come on down to first Saturday at the market!

Need some help from my followers. Lambing season is right around the corner and I need a theme for Lamb names. Last year was Texas A&M, we have had Star Wars, Grey's Anatomy, Outlander, Spices (though I could repeat that one.)
Thinking a flower theme. Unless someone can give me a better idea. Needs to have a good number of male and female names.

Will be out The Farmers Market in Brazos County tomorrow 8-noon. With tomatoe and broccoli! Will probably be the last market we will be at for the next couple weeks as we prep for spring plantings.
So come get your veggies, caramels, herbal teas, etc…

Great info on wool. We hope to have dryer balls from our sheep for sale this fall/winter as well as we have wool pellets which make a great fertilizer and helps with water retention in the soil.
