Mini Rex Rabbits!
Please read post and pictures for info.
I love mini rex, they were the first rabbits I ever had as a kid. They are so soft and beautiful 😍 However, with another baby on the way, I've decided to let ours go.
I do not show rabbits nor do I know how to properly pose them, so these pictures are not professionally posed and these guys were wiggling most of the time.
I have my breeding pair Jellybean and Gunsmoke plus two of their daughters.
Jellybean is a a wonderful mom, who has never tried eating her babies, builds a great nest, keeps kits well fed, and throws gorgeous colors! She will be a year old this fall.
Gunsmoke is our buck. He's gentle with our doe and threw a terrific batch of babies when we bred him. His color is just drop dead gorgeous, in my opinion, and as you can see in his daughters, he passes those strikingly colors down to his offspring. He is also going to be a year old in the fall.
Opal, daughter #1, never been bred, so isn't proven. She was born Febuary 5th.
Delilah, daughter #2, never been bred, so isn't proven. Also born Febuary 5th.
Can go all together or separately.

I have a total of 5 males and 8 females. I'm debating keeping a pair or trio, but we'll see.
These are beautiful birds, everyone who sees them always comments on how striking they are!
Several of the females have been laying and eggs are fertile! Currently have a few in the incubator.
Possibly trade whole flock for a chrondo neg/long leg dexter cow.

Exciting news! Our household is expanding! This fall, we'll be welcoming a new baby boy into our family.
With our household increasing, we've decided the farm needs to decrease for the time being. So, keep an eye on our page over the next couple of months as we decide what's staying and what's leaving.
We do plan to keep breeding most of our bird varieties next year, but we will be replacing many of our adults with growouts from this spring. We also will be hatching only a few more batches of English Orpington chicks this year.
Here is a short list of several things we'll be letting go of in the coming months: most, if not all, of our Snowflake Bobwhites; our Mini Rex rabbits; most of our adult Half Curl Sebastopols and some of the growouts (these will be retained until fall so they can regrow their feathers from breeding season); and some of our adult and growout Orpingtons, including Jubilees, Chocolate Silver Laced, Silver Laced, Chocolate, and some Black/Blue. This may not be everything, but it's a good overview. When we're ready to let them go, we will post them with all their necessary information. Thank you, and stay tuned!
