🐣 BABY BIRD UPDATE 🐣 (Edited to add a photo of all 4 babies back in the nest together!)

We have BABY BIRDS!!

Yesterday morning, all four eggs from the original nest were still there. By this morning they had hatched, and only one little baby remains at home. The other three have already moved out. Kids grow up so fast. 😭

Meanwhile, Walkway Mama remains fully committed to motherhood. She sat on her eggs through all of yesterday's storms, and all four of her eggs are still safe and intact.

And before anyone asks... our camera has a zoom lens that could probably read a license plate from the next county over. 📸🔍 We take all photos from a respectful distance and let our feathered tenants go about their business.

The pond residents have officially survived another Wisconsin winter. 🐸🐟❄️

Against all odds, the goldfish are still chunky, the bullfrogs are still unemployed, and something in that pond still makes eye contact a little too aggressively.
